All MCCA member institutions are either regionally or nationally accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
In Fall 2014, the total undergraduate enrollment at private career colleges was 13,000 with 73% of the students 25 and older and 39% students of color.
In 2013-2014 , the average published tuition and fees at two-year private career colleges was $16,590 and $14,590 at four-year private career colleges
In 2013, the three year graduation rate for two-year private career colleges was 67%.
In 2012 - 2013, Minnesota private career colleges awarded 40% of certificates and 20% of Associate degrees conferred to Minnesota graduates.
In 2013, the default rate for Minnesota private career colleges was 13% while the default rate for all Minnesota colleges was 12%
In the grant year ending 6/30/2014, private career colleges had 9% of the total state grant recipients and those students received 8% of the total grant dollars awarded. 73% of these students where independent.
Of the state grant recipients attending private career colleges , and 20% had adjusted gross incomes less than $20,000
